Greetings Fellow Democrats,
As the 2010 elections begin to heat up, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is hard at work protecting the priorities of families across Wisconsin. Since the party was founded sixty years ago, we have come a long way in advancing Wisconsin forward and I want you to be a part of our continued success.
With your help we turned the tide in 2008 for Democrats and began the road to recovery. We have seen the damage Republicans can do and it is clear that we cannot go back, and that's where you come in.
I'm asking you to become or renew your membership in the Democratic Party of Wisconsin today. By joining at the level that's right for you, whether it's $35, $75, $120, $240 or whatever you can afford, your membership will help us as we gear up for 2010.
We have already have accomplished so much thanks to our strong Democratic leaders. For the first time in over 30 years, we passed the state budget on time. We've secured domestic partnerships for LGBT couples, put stimulus funds to work in ways that get our economy back on track and have taken up a number of bills that will protect our environment and ensure that the lives of women remain safe and healthy.
Next year it's imperative that we maintain control of the Governorship, the State Senate and the State Assembly to protect these hard fought battles and your membership will help us do just that.
