Tom Barrett, the Leader that Will Fight for Wisconsin's Working Families

Democrat Tom BarrettIt has been a busy two weeks for the Tom Barrett camp. Just this past Monday, Aug. 16,, President Obama came to town for a fundraiser attended by more than 1,300 supporters. Other special guests included Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Sen. Herb Kohl and Gov. Jim and Jessica Doyle. In his speech, President Obama made it clear that Tom is the leader that will fight for Wisconsin's working families. The president noted Tom's strong record of job creation. Specifically, President Obama talked about how Tom helped turn around an industrial wasteland in the heart of MIlwaukee into a thriving commercial center that supports nearly 3,000 jobs.  In the past 10 months alone, Tom has helped bring another 2,000 jobs to Wisconsin.

Local Campaign Volunteers Welcomed
Vote this fallThe Democratic Party of Brown County is looking for volunteers to help get out the vote in our area.
 
If you have hours to donate as a canvasser, a phone bank operator or data entry worker... call county chair Tom Sieber at 920-680-6366 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Flexible hours are between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm, seven days a week.
 
Greeters are also needed to help volunteers find their proper office at the Coordinated Campaign Office on West Mason Street in Green Bay.  The shifts are 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  To volunteer as a greeter, email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
 
Helping on a campaign can be a great way for people, young and old, to serve the community and learn how the political process works at the grass roots level.
