3.  Phone Banks For Feingold

The Feingold Campaign will be holding phone banks every Tuesday and Thursday evening at the Green Bay office, located at 1061 West Mason Street.  Each evening will have two shifts, running from 5-7 pm and 7-9 pm.  If you are able to help out, please call Sam Cooper or Emily Kitchin in the Green Bay office at 920-497-1375.

4.  We Need Volunteers

The Democratic Party of Brown County is looking for volunteers to help for the partisan elections in November.  During the next several months there are going to be many opportunities to help out.

Some of the upcoming projects will include phone banking, lit drops, canvassing, and office work later into the winter and spring of 2011.  Along with helping our local candidates, you can also help the party by using these events to help promote membership.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, please contact Anthony Polzin at (920) 530-9208 or e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   I will also be contacting everyone in the party personally over the next several weeks to inquire.

5.  Communications Task Force

The party’s Commucations Task Force began its work recently to find the combination of strategies that will bring us more members, volunteers, donations, and an excellent voter turnout.  Research is underway on how our phones will be answered, how phone calls will be made, how the party looks online, how our e-mails look, and how our literature looks.  All of our communication methods will need to be tailored to maximize the value of our campaign dollars and volunteer time.

If you have experience in customer service, telemarketing, door to door canvassing, or if you have an interest in communications, we’d like to hear from you now.  You can contact the Task Force Chair, Bruce McKay, at 920-264-0973 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

6.  General Membership Meeting

The Democratic Party of Brown County’s monthly general membership meeting will be held on Thursday June 24th, at 7pm, at the party office, located at 1061 West Mason Street in Green Bay.  We look forward to seeing you!
