MADISON - In a first for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, the packed 2010 State Convention was streamed online to thousands of viewers across the state and nation over the weekend. Speakers including DNC Chairman Gov. Tim Kaine, Senator Russ Feingold, Wisconsin's next governor Tom Barrett, and many more, drew viewers looking for strong Democratic leadership to move Wisconsin forward and provide real solutions to the problems facing working families.
Over the seven-hour broadcast, powered by Ustream.tv, 21,225 unique viewers logged on, watching a combined 77 days, 13 hours, 24 minutes of live video from the Convention. Tom Barrett’s speech on Saturday morning drew 15,172 unique viewers, as Wisconsinites tuned in to hear more about his plan to create jobs and cut wasteful spending. |
