Sam Dunlop Considering Second Run For 4th Assembly Seat |

De Pere - Former De Pere Alderman Sam Dunlop made the following statement regarding today’s announcement that Representative Phil Montgomery will not seek re-election:
“During these tough economic times, when hardworking families throughout our community are struggling, we deserve a Representative in Madison that will put partisan bickering aside and stand up for average people back home.
If we are going to get people back to work and the economy back on track, we need a Representative who will put Main Street before Wall Street. We need someone who will work in Madison to help small businesses create good-paying jobs in Allouez, Ashwaubenon, De Pere, and Green Bay.
In the coming weeks I will continue to talk with families throughout our district about the challenges we are facing and the solutions we can achieve by working together. During this time I will give serious consideration to a prospective candidacy for state Assembly.”
