Party of No Answers Attack Kagen PDF Print E-mail

Kagen in WashingtonTuesday, March 09, 2010

The Party of No Answers continues on its historical path of no answers and strict partisanship.

While Dr. Kagen is working hard to reform Washington D.C. and lower costs of healthcare, the Republican candidates for Congress continue following the lead of their Republican Party.  The media front runner and Republican “Young Gun” calls transparency in pricing a good idea while attacking Dr. Kagen for advancing the idea.

The Door County Supervisor apparently thinks it’s a good idea but the mandate should come from “our perspective” instead of D.C.  The other doctor in the race apparently thinks the costs of healthcare have nothing to do with healthcare.  The past candidate for this seat seems to think that knowing the price you will pay for a procedure is somehow related to “bribery and conspiracy and corruption.”

These Republican candidates have proven that while they are not in Washington D.C., they already have the values of  a Washington D.C. insider.  Give credit where credit is due.  Dr. Kagen is working hard to transform Washington D.C. and to bring down healthcare costs.  The Republican candidates for Congress have proven to not be interested in bipartisanship.  They have also proven to not be serious in advancing ideas that would bring down the costs of healthcare by not fully embracing Dr. Kagen’s very common sense approach to control costs.

The Democratic Party of Brown County asks the Republican candidates for the 8th Congressional District to fully embrace Dr. Kagen’s pricing transparency bill to make the costs of healthcare known to all which will lead to lower costs for all.
